A small backyard wedding June 2013

Norm & CathyWhen I first met Cathy & Norm early spring 2013, I knew right away that these two were meant for each other. As we chatted at their kitchen table, they told me about how they met. Their story is very personal, and I cant share all the details, however I can let you know that it made my heart tingle!

They wanted a small gathering of their family & friends in their backyard. They have done lots of the leg work already, but didn’t want to worry about the details the day of, and setting everything up & serving their guests. Taking all of the elements that Cathy, Norm, family & friends, made or acquired, I made sure that every feature was highlighted, and all their guests had a drink & something to eat.

A tent was set up in their back lawn, with tables set for lunch. Cocktail served on their patio, with passed Hors D’oeuvres. Lunch was a light bbq buffet, with amazing piano music. The weather was fantastic, and I don’t remember a single bug!

Overall it was a very nice, family friendly small intimate wedding of 30 guests that were thrilled that Cathy & Norm were getting married. This couple will always be a special memory for me.

Where has the time gone

Life & work had gotten very busy since TLC started up. 2013 & 2014 were packed full with many Hospitality Consulting Jobs, and weddings. Busy taking care of clients, I didn’t get time to sit down and reflect all the great events and update them here in my blog.

January 2015, I also had a new addition to my little family. Now 6 months after baby smiles, sweet smelling baby hair, and baby giggles, I have the time to reflect and remember some of the fantastic events I was able to be part of. Over the next few months, i’ll post stories and how we added a touch of TLC to some special clients days.

Till next time,
